Hello Everyone,
I will list the readings for this week. They are written out in the weekly planner books that Amanda gave you and the simplest way to stay faithful with your devotions is to keep that book somewhere handy and just read it and think about it for a few minutes each day. We expect to hear from you once a week.
Readings;
Mon Romans 8:31
Tue 2 Corinthians 3:3
Wed Romans 8:17
Thur 1 Thessalonians 5:13
Fri Romans 12:18
Sat Psalm 69:6

Comment on Jan 26 reading
Hello Everyone,
Thanks for coming out to the meeting. Remember, doing devotions is part of the team agreement so you will each have to figure out where to fit it into your routine. Pay special attention to the reading from today Jan 26. If God is for us, who can be against us? It is not uncommon when you start to really do something in your life for God that a lot of negative, discouraging comments start to head your way. You have to be certain of your commitment to be able to stand firm when others try to pull you back from God. The enemy will try to make you doubt, to convince you to be lazy and blow off the commitments so I would ask you today to pray to God for the strength and courage to stand firm. You'll never regret it.
Blessings, Brenda.

Welcome to the Brazil Team's Blog

Hi everyone!
Welcome to our Blog site. This is another way of all of us communicating and keeping up with our devotions together. As we talked about in our last meeting at Brenda's house, spending time in devotions and prayer is key to help us spiritually prepare for this mission trip. Please post to the site as it is for all of us to build friendship and team spiritl\
God is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. He knows everything you ever did and He still loves you! He knows your future too. He has the best plans for your life. He cares for you so much that He gave His Son so that you could be with Him forever. “For God so loved the world, the He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
You can talk to Him about anything that concerns you. Tell Him your desires and passions. Share your concerns for your loved ones. Talk out your fears with Him. Communicate to God what is inside you without fear.
Prayer – What do I say?Prayer may be accomplished in many ways. The best way is to be natural, just as if you were in the room with Him. He is very anxious to hear every word you say. You can say whatever is on your heart. He’ll even listen to your anger and sadness.
God does know our future and he has chosen all of us to go far away from our families to Brazil to spread his word and be his witness to the ends of the earth. He will guide us and prepare us as we need for this trip.
God Bless this team!!
